Scuba:

"Discover
Scuba" is a one-day program designed to permit those individuals who
have never previously experienced scuba-diving to actually go diving under
the direct supervision of an instructor, in ideal conditions. The course is
comprised of: classroom, confined water, and an actual scuba-diving segment. |

Water Certification:

(No prerequisite) To be conducted over a period of between 3 1/2 and 4 days under the supervision of an instructor, the course involves the completion of a series of five "modular" classroom and associated confined water skill development sessions and four structured "experience" scuba-dives, the successful candidate will be awarded the prestigious PADI Open Water license. Individuals successfully under-taking their full PADI Open Water licensing programs while aboard will automatically qualify to join the other of our licensed diver-guests during the remainder of their dive-cruise diving activities - equipment to be provided by Hooked on Diving at no additional charge. |

NB: Specialty training dives completed during the advanced Open Water course may be counted towards individual specialty certifications. Therefore, for those candidates so certified, may accordingly opt to reduce by one the number of required specialty certification dives they must complete in order to qualify for licensing.
